Charles Moore on the BBC

It was encouraging to read that Charles Moore has strong views about the BBC.  Apparently, Starbucks will close for 4 hours to retrain all their staff following an incident with people resulting from the “unconscious bias” of their staff.  Moore ponders: “if the BBC might try such a shutdown on a grander scale.  It would take at least four weeks – possibly four years – to train its staff out of unconscious bias on Brexit, Christianity, the sex war, paedophile accusations, immigration, Israel, Trump, abortion, global warming, and so on.”  Amen to all that and to which may now be added, following “news” items this week, being English.  Of course, the BBC will deny all this pointing out their box-ticking record of giving a platform, however brief and emasculated, to contrary views. Lamentably, given BBC’s liberally progressive predisposition, it will be surprising if anything in reply to my on-going bias accusation, undermines their moral sand castle.
