The Way We Live Now

I had never heard of Eniola Aluko until the BBC granted her a decent length interview on the 10 O’clock News yesterday (not a hint of the post-Brexit trade prospects report, however). Apparently, she plays football and has represented England.

Last season, Eniola Aluko made an allegation of bullying and discrimination which was rejected by a barrister-lead investigation.

Eniola Aluko has now made a new complaint, about a joke which left her “shocked and intimidated” which was not included in her original submission.  In her interview last night, fighting back tears, she claimed that it was “in the public interest” to investigate her new allegation.

I do not deny that some members of the public may find the alleged injustice interesting.  On the other hand, others may not.
