My hairdresser's husband cannot obtain funding to translate
the skills he acquired during his recent service in the British Army into
qualifications that might enhance his civilian job prospects. Today we
hear that Government funding to learn the English language is to made available
to Muslim women who have, hitherto, not displayed any discernible inclination
to integrate into their host society. Your may agree that there
appears to be something wrong with the Government's priorities?
